Bok Towers Native Plant Tour

9:30 am - Noon (approximately)

Cheryl Peterson, Manager of the Rare Plant Conservation Program at Bok Tower Gardens, will lead a guided tour of the native plant and rare plants sections of Bok Towers Gardens. She will walk us through the native plant areas, including the a native plant uplands, a native plant bog, and an endangered native plant garden.

After the walk your may choose to pack your own lunch or dine (at your own expense) at The Blue Palmetto Café, located in the Visitor Center. It features delicious salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps, fruit and specialty desserts, as well as beer and wines in an indoor or outdoor setting.

SNPS members will receive a special rate of $7.00 per person to enter the park. We request you pay in advance, but if you do not, it is still OK to get this special deal. When you get to the BOK Towers gate, just need to let the gate attendant know that you are part of the Florida Native Plant Society trip.  The gate attendant will let you through.  Then proceed to the front of the Visitor Center at 10 a.m to join the group. If you have not yet paid for the field trip, Gar will collect your money and pay Bok Towers. More information and a sign-up she will be available at our Chapter Meetings in May and June.
